Broadcast Integration
For TEC's PUBG tournament, the objective was to create a broadcast environment that immediately resonated with the game's community by drawing inspiration from Miramar, one of PUBG's most iconic maps. The client wanted a virtual production set that captured the raw, rugged atmosphere of the desert battleground while functioning as a professional broadcast environment for live tournament coverage.
FURY designed and developed an original industrial hangar-inspired virtual set that blended the architectural language and environmental storytelling of Miramar with the practical requirements of esports broadcasting. The environment incorporated large industrial structures, aircraft wreckage, weapon-inspired props, desert textures, cinematic lighting, and dedicated broadcast presentation areas, creating a space that felt authentic to the game without directly replicating an existing location.
The result was an immersive broadcast experience that bridged the world of PUBG with live production, delivering a visually distinctive tournament environment that felt instantly familiar to players while providing viewers with a premium esports broadcast experience.

The Challenge
PUBG's visual identity is grounded in realism.
The challenge was to recreate the essence of PUBG's iconic Miramar map within a virtual production environment. Rather than replicating the map one-to-one, the goal was to draw inspiration from its defining characteristics- vast desert landscapes, rugged architecture, weathered textures, and realistic environmental design. These elements had to be adapted into a broadcast-ready virtual set that could seamlessly support presenters, dynamic camera movements, on-screen graphics, and event branding, while retaining the grounded visual identity and immersive atmosphere that PUBG players immediately recognize.
Our Solution
FURY designed an original hangar-inspired broadcast environment influenced by Miramar's industrial architecture.
Large structural elements, exposed steel frameworks, weathered surfaces, and cinematic lighting combined to create a space that felt both believable and production-ready.
Dedicated presentation areas allowed hosts to transition naturally between tournament segments while integrated branding ensured the environment remained visually connected to the event.
Design & Technology
The environment was developed using a real-time production pipeline focused on broadcast reliability.
Key design features included:
Industrial hangar architecture
Miramar-inspired environmental storytelling
Cinematic lighting
Custom tournament branding
Optimized Unreal Engine workflow
Real-time rendering
Broadcast graphics integration
Lighting played a significant role in establishing atmosphere.
Warm desert-inspired tones contrasted against darker structural interiors, creating visual depth while directing audience attention toward presenters and key broadcast elements.
Throughout development, every asset was optimized for live production.
The environment balanced high visual fidelity with efficient real-time performance, allowing directors to move freely between multiple camera positions without compromising frame rate or image quality.
Integrated branding, dynamic camera paths, and carefully composed presentation zones ensured
the set remained visually engaging throughout long tournament broadcasts.
Execution
The PUBG Hangar environment delivered a distinctive broadcast identity that stood apart from
conventional esports productions.
By drawing inspiration from the game's world while creating an original production space, FURY provided TEC with a flexible environment capable of supporting live competition, analysis, interviews, and championship presentations within a single cohesive virtual set.
The project demonstrates how thoughtful environment design can strengthen audience immersion while supporting the practical demands of modern esports broadcasting.
