Solution
The Esports Club wanted the Valorant Showdown broadcast to reflect the bold visual identity of the game. The challenge was to create an immersive production environment that captured the game's futuristic architecture and competitive atmosphere while functioning as a professional broadcast studio capable of supporting live presenters and tournament coverage
FURY developed a custom Unreal Engine environment inspired by Valorant's distinctive maps, materials, and architectural language. Every element, from lighting and composition to environmental details, was designed to recreate the game's raw visual character while supporting smooth camera movement, graphics integration, and live production workflows.
The final broadcast environment successfully blurred the line between gameplay and broadcast, creating a studio that felt instantly familiar to Valorant players while delivering a polished viewing experience for audiences worldwide.

The Challenge
Producing a premium esports broadcast without a dedicated physical studio required transforming a simple green screen space into an environment capable of competing with international tournament productions. The virtual set needed to satisfy two audiences simultaneously:
Competitive Valorant players who instantly recognize the game's visual language.
Broadcast viewers expecting a polished television-quality production.
Balancing authenticity with production efficiency became the project's central challenge.
Our Solution
FURY designed an original virtual environment inspired by the architectural language of Valorant's maps.
The stage incorporated recognizable design elements, futuristic structures, dramatic lighting, and environmental details that immediately connected with the game's identity without directly recreating existing locations.
The environment was optimized for presenter interaction, dynamic camera movement, and live graphics integration, ensuring that talent remained the focal point throughout the broadcast.
Design & Technology
The production pipeline combined:
Autodesk Maya for modeling
Substance Painter for asset texturing
Unreal Engine for lighting, rendering, and world building
Brainstorm InfinitySet for real-time broadcast integration
Special attention was given to lighting.
After evaluating multiple approaches, the team adopted a dramatic nighttime environment that created stronger contrast, enhanced atmosphere, and reinforced Valorant's distinctive sci-fi aesthetic while improving presenter visibility.
The environment was optimized for real-time performance, ensuring consistent frame rates throughout live production.
Every element of the environment was designed with broadcast storytelling in mind.
Camera paths, presenter positions, environmental composition, and lighting were planned together to create cinematic visuals from every angle.
Integration with InfinitySet enabled smooth camera tracking, graphics insertion, and seamless interaction between presenters and the virtual world, allowing the production to operate as naturally as a traditional broadcast studio.
Execution
Results
The finished environment successfully transformed a green screen studio into an immersive esports arena.
By combining game-inspired design with professional broadcast workflows, the production delivered a visually authentic experience that strengthened audience immersion while providing the flexibility required for live tournament coverage.
The project demonstrates how virtual production enables esports organizations to build premium broadcast experiences without the constraints of permanent physical studios.
