One of the most satisfying projects we worked on at FURY was the BGMI Gauntlet Season 2 for The Esports Club (TEC). This production didn’t just showcase TEC’s unique vision—it set a new benchmark for esports broadcasting in the region. By combining virtual set design, real-time augmented reality (AR) graphics, and state-of-the-art production tools, we pushed the boundaries of what esports coverage can look like.

The Vision

TEC wanted a production that felt futuristic, immersive, and engaging for both players and fans. Our challenge was to build a stage that captured the energy of BGMI esports while also providing the production flexibility needed for a live broadcast.

The solution? A virtual environment powered by Unreal Engine 5 and Brainstorm InfinitySet, designed to deliver photorealistic visuals and seamless AR integration.

Tools and Technology

The BGMI Gauntlet Season 2 set was made possible through a combination of cutting-edge tools:

  • Unreal Engine 5 – delivering photorealistic graphics and a hyper-immersive stage.

  • Brainstorm InfinitySet – powering real-time virtual production workflows with camera tracking and AR integration.

  • AR Graphics Layer – providing live, dynamic data overlays for player stats and match insights.

This combination ensured that the environment wasn’t just visually stunning, but also production-ready for a fast-paced esports tournament.

Key Features of the Virtual Set

  •  Stunning virtual set design – A sleek, futuristic stage that captured the excitement of esports.
  •  Real-time AR graphics – Live player stats and data overlays enhanced storytelling and kept viewers engaged.
  •  Photorealistic visuals – Unreal Engine 5 brought cinematic quality and immersive detail to every frame.
  • Seamless production workflow – Brainstorm InfinitySet allowed smooth integration of graphics, camera tracking, and live broadcast needs.

AR Graphics: Taking Storytelling Further

One of the highlights of this project was the integration of real-time AR graphics. By displaying live player stats and data within the virtual environment, we gave viewers a more interactive and data-driven esports experience.

This not only elevated the storytelling aspect of the broadcast but also helped fans connect more deeply with the competition, turning every play and every stat into a visual highlight.

Collaboration & Outcome

We’re incredibly grateful to The Esports Club for trusting us with their vision. Together, we delivered a production-ready solution that merged creativity and technology into an unforgettable esports experience.

The BGMI Gauntlet Season 2 stands as a testament to how virtual production and AR graphics can redefine the way esports broadcasts are experienced, not just in India, but globally.

Conclusion

At FURY, we’re passionate about creating game-inspired, immersive virtual environments that push the boundaries of esports broadcasting. The BGMI Gauntlet Season 2 project is proof of what’s possible when innovation, technology, and design come together.
